Summer games are unique because it’s more than just a big tennis tournament. The best thing about the Summer Games tennis tournament is that fans can play so many other amazing sporting events in a city surrounded by a unique atmosphere.

Tennis first appeared in the Summer Games in 1896, but was discontinued in 1924. It returned in 1988 and has been in the lineup ever since.

Summer Games 2020 will be held in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8, 2021. There is only nine days to complete this famous tennis tournament and players will play with national pride.

BNP Paribas Open – Tennis Garden Indian Wells

There are many reasons why we consider the BNP Paribas Open to be one of the best tennis tournaments. The first is tennis, of course: this magnificent tennis tournament attracts the best players in the world and is also popular with fans. It regularly attracts more than 400,000 fans and even attracted record activity in the 2019 tournament, with 475,372 fans experiencing the tournament in person.

Another draw for the BNP Paribas Open is their placement. The tournament calls itself “Tennis Paradise” and it’s hard to argue. The event will be held in Indian Wells, Palm Springs, California. This beautiful tourist destination offers luxurious resorts, world-class golf, amazing shopping and dining, luxurious spas and much more soothing for nature lovers. It also offers good weather, the perfect place for a late winter holiday.

ATP Finals – O2 Stadium, London

The ATP Finals is another top tennis tournament. The ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) final dates back to 1970, although it has been made a few different names and versions. The tournament has been at London’s O2 Stadium since 2009, but will move to a new host city in 2021: Turin, Italy.

The ATP final follows a different format than Grand Slams, which use a drop / bracketing system. This event follows a group scene. Each player is placed in a group of four and plays against each other in their group. The first two in each group advance to the semifinals and then to the championship finals.

WTA Finals – Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, Shenzhen

Professional women have their own big tournament to end the season. The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour ends with the WTA Finals, which will be held in Shenzhen, China from October 26 to November 8, 2020. Shenzhen had the honor of hosting until 2028 after organizing the Singapore acquisitions in 20191.

As in the ATP final, the tournament will be played in the form of a group / round, followed by the semi-finals and the final. In 2019, the WTA Finals made history by offering the winner of the biggest cash prize in sports history with a potential $ 4.75 million. To win the full amount, the winner must remain undefeated in the tournament. Eventually, lone winner Ashleigh Barty walked away with a fine $ 4.42 million.
